Piero has been creating and delivering training courses for more than twenty years. Each is an interactive experience where participants can discover and interpret new ideas, explore and evaluate old habits and experiment through discussion, exercise and group work. Being constantly revised, the current portfolio of fourteen courses draws inspiration from research, art, observation and personal experience. All are effective in design, practical in content and memorable in delivery.
Piero has worked with groups of various sizes from boardrooms of ten to AGM's of over a thousand. Preferring to adopt an unobtrusive approach to facilitation, he uses presence, patterns of language and expression to gauge and guide involvement. Possessing a keen eye and a precise manner, he uses a mixture of interactive exercise, metaphor, model and experience to differentiate between content and process. Nonetheless, he is quick to recognise and tackle situations that require a more direct approach.
The key to coaching is knowing precisely what you want from it and being prepared to give up something in order to get it. An exploration and discussion of goals before any coaching contract is agreed upon is therefore essential. He works with clients candidly and carefully, keenly aware that coaching in a one to one setting is, by its nature, potentially intimidating for both parties. Sessions are normally an hour in length and he will only conduct them face to face or by video link.
Presenting is Piero’s natural forte. No matter the size of your audience, he revels in and excels with them, creating intrigue naturally and responding intuitively to their needs and expectations. Balancing his performances between specific objectives and an audience’s need to be involved, entertained and sometimes provoked, he uses his dramatic flair, trained stage craft and experience to create a memorable performance that embeds a message.
"You were an exceptional trainer and gave 100% commitment to us. Despite some sceptics, you left my team unanimously content - which isn't easy actually. I will recommend you to other colleagues at our partner organisations."
